If you are interested in how to calculate a cantata day calendar, or if you're looking for complete calendars up to 2037, have a look my cantata day resources.
As explained here a Bach year is composed of variable (liturgical) days (based on Christmas or Easter), and a number of fixed dates (same date each year), and those can be liturgical (like Christmas or Visitation), and many are non-liturgical.
Variable cantata days start with Advent I, the first day in the liturgical calendar, and are sorted according to occurrence. Variable cantata days are all part of the liturgical calendar.
Liturgical fixed cantata days start with the first liturgical fixed date after New Year and are sorted according to their date.
These fixed cantata days also start with the first fixed date after New Year and are sorted according to their date, but they cover non-liturgical events.
